What to expect
Lessons on how to develop displays from scratch using different kinds of products, lighting compositions, with a sensorial strategy with costumer in mind, different technics and tools from different sectors will give you multiple resources for managing daily work situations. This includes learning how to develop a creative display, a planogram, a VM manual or corporate presentation, how to respond to briefs and how to structure your work to achieve the results you want.
The course will also equip you with practical skills, insight and understanding to communicate with and get the best from stakeholders and other creative professionals.
Requirements
Basic Visual Merchandising and retail business knowledge is required or complete the Level 1 course

Video lectures within a intuitive user-friendly platform, for web and mobile, all lessons with practical examples, assignments in all sections some with evaluation from the instructor and with downloadable e-books.
Mastering Visual Merchandising is in asynchronos learning mode (with on-demand videos) for the suggested time of 2 Months (1 section per week) which runs for 8 weeks and all content will be available for two years. You will be expected to commit between 2-3 hours per week to study.

Course Content
This advanced visual merchandising training is structured across 8 professional modules, combining strategy, creativity and performance analysis.
SECTION 1 - Intro and perspective
Presentation of the course and instructor. Why visual merchandising exists in retail, what it is for and what specialized techniques exist in the profession that we will work with throughout this course.
SECTION 2 - Design and composition techniques
How to present the product in a sensorial and creative way, mastering design and composition techniques. The theory and practice of three-dimensional composition touching on all the key points.
SECTION 3 - Window display for exteriors and interiors
Without storytelling you can have a beautifully executed composition, but it will not convert or engage the customer if it does not have a story or a concept.
Section 4 - The brand and the product from the Visual Merchandising perspective
The visual merchandiser must know the brand and the product like no one else, being able to create concepts, displays and environments that translate an identity and reinforce the brand's positioning. We´ll learn how to translate that knowledge into product display strategies aligned with product lifecycle in the store space and how to communicate creative proposals with commercial, supply chain and marketing teams.
Section 5 - Store space, layout, furniture and how to manage everything
Mastering the space and fixtures is essential to creating an attractive, sensorial and profitable space. We will learn how to align the space and all elements in it to the needs of the business and the product in different industries.
Section 6 - Planning Visual merchandising, planograms, guidelines and VM brand manuals.
VM management process around the year, developing guidelines to roll out in different stores, communicate with field VM, define rules for maintenance to ensure successful implementations, how to create a brand VM manual and how to develop planograms to make each store as profitable as possible.
Section 7 - Measuring and optimizing the store space
Measuring a qualitative action can make all the difference in being a successful visual merchandising. In this section all creative will lose the fear of numbers and find in them a useful ally.

How the digital age supports visual merchandising and shapes it for the future.
